The E-Gals easily won this Fort Ancient Valley Conference East game over the Panthers. Sarah Alley was the winning pitcher and had three hits to support her own cause. Kahla Simmons had two triples and Alison Moore two more hits.

Clermont Northeastern 13 Western Brown 1 (five innings)

Emily Anderson won the game on the mound and struck out nine Broncos in this Southern Buckeye Conference American Division duel. Carly Aselage homered and had five runs batted in (RBI), Chelsae Osborn had three hits, and McKena Miller two.

The Trojans lost their first Fort Ancient Valley East game to the Knights. Kelley Benhase fanned 12 of the enemy in a losing effort.

New Richmond 10 Manchester 0 (five innings)

The Greyhounds were no match for the Lions and pitcher Bethany Smith who had two hits to help herself.

Winning pitcher Shelby Engle whiffed 12 Warriors and losing pitcher Kaitlyn Tucker k’d 13 Barons in this pitcher’s duel. Engle and Jordan Kaiser both had two hits and Kaiser also had two RBI.

Kala Ziegelmeier was the triumphant hurler and Shelby Engle got a save in this second Southern Buckeye American game. Dana Caldwell had two hits and three RBI, Engle two triples and two RBI and Megan Mentzel two hits. For the Red and Gray, Stephanie Smith had two hits and A. J. Jones two RBI.

Christina Davidson earned the mound win for the Clermont countians. Brittany Norman smashed a home run for the E-Gals. Carolyn Hartman had three hits, and Sarah Alley, Kara Atwell, and Hannah Woodall each had a pair of hits.

Sarah Alley struck out 11 Redskins from the mound and she received offensive support from Carolyn Hartman with three hits, and Hillary Woodall, Kara Atwell, and herself with two hits apiece.

Amelia 4 Western Brown 2

Shelby Engle’s eight strikeouts helped her earn the pitching triumph. She had three hits, Nikki Martin two RBI, and Jordan Kaiser two hits and runs scored for the Barons in this Southern Buckeye American contest.

Felicity 10 East Clinton 0 (five innings)

Montana Wear piled up 11 more strikeouts in this Southern Buckeye National Division win over the Astros. Shelby Lucas led the Cardinals’ offense with three hits and two RBI, MacKenzie Dunaway had three hits and two RBI, and Amanda White scored three times.

Williamsburg 8 Eastern 7

Eastern was edged by the Wildcats behind the pitching of Rachel Meisberger who whiffed nine Warriors. She had two hits to help her mound efforts and Alexa Tibbs and Kelsey Burnett added three hits each in this non-conference contest.

Kelsey Burnett was the winning hurler this time and she helped her efforts by getting two hits. Courtney Wagers and Hannah Klein had three hits and Alexa Tibbs and Shannon Maloney two for the Clermont countians.

Kings 2 Milford 1 (eight innings)

Kings has been on fire of late pulling off another upset in the Fort Ancient Valley East. Sarah Alley was the Knights’ mound victim this time despite striking out 12 of the Warren countians.

Felicity 8 Blanchester 0

Montana Wear wore down another Southern Buckeye National foe adding 15 more k’s to her impressive season total. At the plate she smashed two home runs among her three hits. Brittany Sowers, Shelby Lucas and Jordan White each had two hits with the latter getting two RBI.

New Richmond 4 Goshen 2

Amanda Schmidt won this Southern Buckeye American showdown over the Warriors despite two hits by Ashley Tidwell.

Batavia 12 Ripley 2 (six innings)

The Bulldogs’ Lexi Lipps struck out nine Blue Jays in Division III action. Erin O’Brien had three hits and four RBI, Briana Appel two hits, and Erika Bourque two hits for the Green and White.

Glen Este 11 Anderson 1 (five innings)

The Purple and White made quick work of the Hamilton countians behind the pitching of Bailey Miller in the game that assured GE of at least a share of the East Division crown of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference. Kaylin Steinmetz hit a home run and batted in five mates, Morgan Tracy and Jamie Merritt both had two RBI. Amanda Harrison and Bailey Miller both had a couple of hits.

League foes faced off in the Division II Tournament with Kathryn Curtis emerging with the win on the hill. Kallie Long, Kaitlyn Davis, and Amanda Schmidt each hit safely twice for the Lions. For the Tigers, Katelyn Allen had three hits and Katie Kilgore had two.

Felicity 10 Lockland 0 (five innings)

Montana Wear allowed the Panthers only five frames to play while striking out 14 of their 15 possible outs. Shelby Lucas got three RBI and MacKenzie Dunaway two for the Red and White.

Amelia 7 New Richmond 2

Shelby Engle pitched, had four hits, scored twice, and had three RBI to lead the Barons. Teammates Jodi Motley had four hits and two RBI and Jennae Chappell had two hits.

Kelley Benhase won this Division I game strikiing out 11 Warriors and getting three hits herself. Kaylin Steinmetz homered among her four hits and had four RBI, Kayla Gregory scored thrice, Kierstin Gregory had two hits and RBI, Katelyn Maynard had three hits as did Bailey Miller who also had four RBI, and Morgan Tracy had two hits.

Sarah Alley fanned nine Redskins in this Division I tourney trial. She, Kara Atwell, and Alison Moore had two hits as did Kahla Simmons who homered and Brittany Norman who had two RBI.

Lexi Lipps was the winning pitcher who helped herself with two hits. The Bulldogs’ offense was also led by Mckenna Fraley’s two hits and four RBI, Erika Bourque’s three hits, and Jill Crouch’s two doubles and two RBI. This was a Division III game.

Clermont Northeastern 12 Mariemont 0 (five innings)

Emily Anderson won again and this time fanned 15 and get two hits herself. McKena Miller’s three hits and three RBI, Jordan McGowan’s and Chelsae Osborne’s two hits topped this offense in this Division III game.

Williamsburg 8 Seven Hills 1

In Division IV, Rachel Meisberger struck out nine Stingers. Her three hits, Tara Dennis’ four, including a home run, and Jessica Meadors’ two paced the Wildcats’ offense.
