Milford turned in a very respectable performance at the prestigious Mason Swimming Invitational.

The boys were second among the 15 teams that scored with 331 points. Perennial state champion, St. Xavier, was the winner with 431. Glen Este was 11th with 32 points

Beau Robinson, a Milford junior, was named the meet’s Most Outstanding Performer. He established new meet records in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard freestyle and was a member of the record-setting 200-yard medley relay.

Robinson, and Conner Litmer, a senior, were involved in four of the Eagles’ victories. Alex Frank, a junior, competed in three winners. Cade Williams, a sophomore, competed in two winners.

Boys

First place: 200-yard medley relay of Alex Frank, Joel Keefer, Beau Robinson, and Conner Litmer1-minute, 45.50-seconds.

Girls

Milford was runner-up among the girls, too, with a total of 177 points and Glen Este was 12th with 76 points. The host Comets were the victors with 465 points.

First place: Jenny Howell of Glen Este (100 breaststroke) 1:12.67.

Second place: Kelsey Meranda of Milford (100 freestyle) 57.96.

Milford 400 freestyle relay of Kayla Villano, Kendall Kehr, Carolyn Storch, and Meranda 4:10.22.

Third place: Milford 200 freestyle relay of Madison Bowling, Kehr, Mariah Hudson, and Sydney Laskarzewski 1:51.27.
