Amelia and Williamsburg are the county’s remaining unbeaten teams in varsity girls volleyball conference competition. Both are leading their respective divisions of the Southern Buckeye Conference. Glen Este is a dominant force in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference.

Amelia, the newest memb er of the American Division of the Southern Buckeye Conference, has defeated Goshen 25-17, 25-10, New Richmond 20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 24-26, 19-17, and Clermont Northeastern 25-15, 25-14, 25-23. Each confrontation was in the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division. The Barons were an annual powerhouse in the old Clermont County League.

Williamsburg welcomes the return of former extremely successfull head coach Ed Stewart and the perenially powerful Wildcats have delivered with victories over East Clinton’s Astros 20-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-12 and Georgetown’s G-Women 25-8, 22-25, 25-20, 25-21. Both battles were in the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division.
