Sherman Adamson, 49, of Pierce Township, was indicted July 21 for possession of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.

The charges stemmed from an investigation by the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office and Pierce Township Police Department which began as a result of an anonymous tip. The departments executed a search warrant on Adamson’s home on July 2.

“Two separate grow operations were found,” Chief Deputy Rick W. Combs said. “One was located in the residence and the second was an underground operation found hidden under the garage. Agents said both operations were extremely sophisticated producing high grade marijuana.”
