The Clermont County Commissioners recently honored a solider returning home from Afghanistan and a soldier leaving for Iraq. They also recognized David R. Caudill as he prepares to leave for Abu Dhabi as a U.S. Ambassador to Iraq.
Army National Guard Sgt. Kelly Pels has been serving since graduating from Goshen High School in 2002. Her Iraq deployment will be the third of her career. She has also been deployed to Kuwait in 2008 and on a peace keeping mission in Kosovo in 2003 and 2004.
