Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Smith of Owensville, Ohio announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Smith, to Dan Shawhan, son of Tom and Janet Shawhan, of Hillsboro, Ohio.
The couple will wed August 21, 2010. Rebecca is a 2006 graduate of Wilmington College and is a legal editor.
Dan is a 2004 graduate of the University of Northwestern Ohio. He works with his family on their dairy and grain farm.
