James Warren Rumple, 90, of Milford, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Venetian Gardens of Goshen Township. He was born July 2, 1919 in Egar, Illinois.

He served in the Army in World War II. Rumple was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church, and retired after more than 40 years of service as a lineman with Cincinnati Gas and Electric.

Rumple was preceded in death by his wife Mary “Dolores” Rumple, parents Clayton Rosco and Amy Shepherd Rumple, and brothers Lester and Art Rumple.

He is survived by his children Paul Rumple, Danny and Elisabeth Rumple, Dennis and Linda Rumple, Donald and Madeleine Rumple, and Maureen and Jerry Tuerck, 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, May 20, 2010 at St. Andrew Church, Milford. IntermentSt. Andrew Cemetery with military honors provided by the U.S. Army. Evans Funeral Home is serving the family.
