A complaint filed against Municipal Court Judge Thomas Herman, candidate for Common Pleas Court Judge, was dismissed by the Ohio Elections Commission after a 20-minute long probable cause hearing.

“The commission found no probable cause that a violation was committed and dismissed the complaint,” Phil Richter Executive Director of the OEC said. “The elections commission considers the matter resolved.”

Common Pleas Court Judge candidate Daniel “Woody” Breyer filed the complaint with the OEC, alleging that Herman “deliberately engaged in a pattern of misconduct.” The complaint was co-filed by local attorney Joe Braun on behalf of the Breyer for Judge committee and by Clermont County Commissioner Scott Croswell, who helped draft the complaint.
