Donald E. Rawlins, 85, of Union Township, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 in Anderson Township.
Mr. Rawlins served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He had worked as an assembly welder for Chevrolet and was retired as a self-employed dry wall installer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl K. Stevens Rawlins; two sons, Butch and Thomas Rawlins and two brothers, Clinton and Harlan Rawlins.
He is survived by seven children, LaVon Rawlins, Donna Kay Dees, Harlan Rawlins, Donald Rawlins, Evelyn Strickland, John Rawlins and Tonia Lynch; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Rawlins and two sisters, Irma Churlan and Evelyn Doll.
Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
Interment at Landmark Memorial Gardens in Evendale.
