James “Curly” Chambers, 80, of Amelia, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010. He was born June 22, 1929.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Chambers; one brother, Garfield and two sisters, Martha and Evelyn.
He is survived by his wife, Madge; children, Roger (Shirley) Chambers, Rick (Elizabeth) Chambers, Terry (Kathy) Lusby, Harry (Nancy) Lusby, Darla (Bud) Burdine, Tammy (Randy) Pursell and Dianna (Jim) Hoskins; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Jan. 22 at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.
Interment at Batavia Union Cemetery.
