John M. Toren, 68, of Amelia, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010. He was born June 26, 1941.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Walker Toren.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Toren; four children, James S. Toren, Katheryn J. Jones, Trina M. Hawthorne and Ray Grueninger III; six grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and an extended family who also called him dad.
A celebration of his life was held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at the home of Douglas Mayhugh, 919 Stanlyn Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245.
