Odis Hassan, 87, of Moscow, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 in Batavia. He was born March 31, 1922 in Liberty Township, the son of Dewey and Leora Stevens Hassan.

He retired from driving a truck after 30 years. Mr. Hassan had a special interest in CB radios. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his seeing-eye dog, Wicky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Craig Hassan; two sisters, Sarah Hassan and Viola Detrick and one brother, Worthy Hassan.

He is survived by his companion, Marian Haddox; five children, Leslie (Bob) Driesbaugh of Findlay, William (Gina) Hassan of Xenia, Carolyn (Dan) Waldman of Findlay, Thom (Jenny) Hassan of Winston-Salem, N. C., Denise (Cliff) Manani of Findlay; 19 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Velma Kubiak of Toledo and one brother, George (Linda) Hassan of Tuscan, Ariz.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
