The two most favored teams to win the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division boys basketball championship met last Friday evening at Goshen and visiting Bethel-Tate emerged victorious 56-45.

In a very poor shooting game from the field and the line, the Warriors led 7-5 and 21-20 after the first two intermissions, but the Tigers were in control 35-28 after three quarters of action.

Louie Schaljo, senior forward, and Tyler Bullock, junior forward, shared game scoring honors for the victors with 16 points apiece and Poe, senior forward, added 11. For the vanquished, Derek Bunnell, senior guard paced the offense with 13 points.
