Nicholas Stozic, 104, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009. He was born Jan. 31, 1904.
Mr. Stozic was a decorated World War II hero, a former POW and the oldest original member of the 82nd Airborne Division.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice C. Maher Stozic and two sisters, Mary Criss and Ann Colderelli.
He is survived by nieces, nephews, family members, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at St. Thomas More Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the visitation at the church.
Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
