There are four open seats on Bethel Village Council and four write-in candidates are vying for those seats.
Donna Gunn was elected to council in 2005. Because of her current job responsibilities, she initially opted not to run for reelection.
“I had originally made the decision not to seek re-election to Bethel Village Council,” said Gunn. “When the filing deadline for petitions passed and no one was on the ballot, I felt the strong desire to file as a write-in candidate.”
