There are six candidates vying for two open seats on the Batavia Township board of trustees. The seat vacated by Debbie Clepper when she was elected Clermont County recorder has been filled this year by appointee Jim Sauls. The other seat is currently filled by Archie Wilson. His term ends in December 2009.

Ryan Clepper is a Batavia Township native and a graduate of Batavia High School and Northern Kentucky University. He and his wife, Amanda, have two children and live in his childhood home which they purchased from his parents. He is currently pursing a master’s degree in educational leadership through the University of Cincinnati.

“Throughout my professional career I have held positions in business management, teaching, administrative detail and coaching,” said Clepper. “I have a well-diversified leadership background which I believe will be an asset.”
