Clayton C. Howard, 90, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009. He was born Feb. 17, 1919.
Mr. Howard served in the U. S. Navy and in the Coast Guard as a Merchant Marine during World War II. He was a leather crafter.
He was preceded in death by one son, Larry Clayton Howard.
He is survived by four daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Iannitti, Geannie (Jim) Johnson, Roberta Howard and Patricia (Tim) Ontko; 10 grandchildren, Alyson Iannitti, Amanda Sherman, Michelle Hatch, Bryan Conn, Amy, Charles and Margaret Benson and Jackson, Christopher and Carly Ontko and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Craver-Riggs Funeral Home and Crematory in Milford.
