A transportation enhancement project is underway which will preserve an historic landmark in Clermont County.

The preliminary plans for the rehabilitation of Stonelick Williams Corner Covered Bridge located north of U.S. 50 in Stonelick Township have been approved and funding for the project is being provided by the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments Board and the National Historic Covered Bridge Preservation Program.

The rehabilitation plans include removal and replacement of the roof and exterior siding, additional structural members to improve the load capacity, deck replacement and a new lighting system with traffic control signals.
