Leslie M. Veatch, 91, of Bethel, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009.
Mr. Veatch was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Edna Potrafke Veatch; one son, Wayne Veatch and two sisters, Ann (Lewis) Kellum and Mary Veatch.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Raymond Veatch; one daughter, Gayle (Jim) Parker; three grandchildren, Ronnie (Jennifer) Parker, Wendy Parker and Danny Veatch; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Bethel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7 at the funeral home.
Interment at Tate Township Cemetery in Bethel.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Church of Christ.
