The Ohio River Foundation recently held its annual Great Ohio River Paddle event.
Approximately 130 participants gathered in Neville Saturday, July 18 and headed down river in groups. Each group had a guide who was able to share knowledge of the ecology and history of the river.
Participants traveled to New Richmond Saturday, with a stop for lunch at Point Pleasant. They camped in New Richmond and on Sunday they continued to Cincinnati.
