The Clermont County Sheriff’s office has been investigating a series of reports from churches in Monroe, Washington and Ohio townships regarding thefts.

“Criminal investigators have investigated a series of reports for breaking and entering and thefts involving four local churches in the southern portion of Clermont County,” said Sheriff A.J. “Tim” Rodenberg. “Reports began coming in on June 7, indicating forced entry into the buildings and removal of small amounts of cash and electronic equipment.”

The thefts have occurred at Calvary Baptist Church, State Route 756; Spring Grove United Methodist Church, Bethel New Richmond- Road; Nicholsville Pentecostal Church, on State Route 222 and Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, on State Route 132.
