Amelia Village Council heard a preliminary plan for developing seven acres of land within the village at its meeting on Monday, June 1.
Mayor Leroy Ellington welcomed Joe Iannelli, commercial realtor, and Roger Paul, a developer, who are looking at the possibility of building a number of duplexes in Amelia.
The possible site is located at the south intersection of state Route 125 and Huntington Street. The potential site would encompass seven acres of unused and undeveloped land south of state Route 125.
