The American Cancer Society has developed some creative ways to help in the fight against cancer. They have been operating upscale resale shops around the country for more than 40 years. On April 2, the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop opened its doors in Cherry Grove Plaza.
The shop that operated on Galbraith Road for nine years had outgrown the space.
“About a year ago we started looking for a different location,” said Kathy Walker, manager. “We had a lot of things to consider before we made a decision. When we found this spot we knew it would be a great place to relocate.”
