Opal Marie Frederick, 72, of Williamsburg, died Sunday, May 17, 2009, in Eastgate. She was born Feb. 7, 1937, in Falmouth, Ky., the daughter of Noah and Louella Spoonamoore Fields.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Frederick; one son, Donald Taylor; three brothers, Elmer, Jesse and Edwin Fields and three sisters, Theda Watercutter, Fannie Meyers and Wanda Fields.

She is survived by seven children, Brenda Church, of Monroe; Jan (Vernon) Turner, of Richmond, Ky.; Kathy Cooper and Gary (Tanuya) Curtis, of Batavia; Michael (Beth) Curtis, of New Richmond; Peggy Curtis, of Amelia and Lisa (Johnny) Sturgill, of Georgetown; four brothers, Walter Fields, of Miamisburg; Clyde Fields, of Amelia; Russell (Blanche) Fields, of West Carollton and Calvin Fields, of Calif. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 20, at Megie Funeral Home, in Mt. Orab.

Interment at Mt. Orab Cemetery.
