An Amelia man died as a result of a motorcycle crash on Lindale-Mt. Holly Road in Monroe Township Saturday, May 2.
Joseph Carpenter, 52, of Amelia, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he ran into a Honda Civic which was stopped on the roadway waiting to turn left. He was unable to stop his motorcycle in time, slid left of center and was thrown from the motorcycle hitting the front of another vehicle.
Timothy Clark, of Williamsburg, was operating a motorcycle behind Carpenter and hit Carpenter’s motorcycle and another vehicle when he was unable to stop.
