John Paul Jones, 93, of Goshen, died Friday, April 10, 2009, in Montgomery.

Mr. Jones served as a sergeant with the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a Freemason and past master of Goshen F&AM Lodge 119, member of the Scottish Rite, former volunteer fireman for Goshen Township and worked for civil defense.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine Pierce Jones; his parents, John Walter and Margaret Elizabeth Wardlow Jones and two sisters, Minnie Nickel and Margaret Hines.

He is survived by one son, John Paul Jones Jr.; two daughters, Mary Edith (George) Butts and Karen Elizabeth (Raymond) Seng, all of Goshen; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 14, at Evans Funeral Home, in Milford.

Interment at Myers Cemetery, in Goshen.
