Willard C. “Bill” Kemper, 82, of Batavia, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009.

Mr. Kemper served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal, two Bronze Stars, the United Nations Service Medal and the Combat Infantry Badge. He worked at Ford Motor Company.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice McKay and Penny Madden.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Wiesenhahn Kemper; two sons, John (Beth) Kemper and Michael (Melanie) Kemper; four daughters, Mary Jane (Dave) Geis, Patricia (Bill) Hutson, Monica (Mike) Buchanan and Kathleen (Gene) Williams; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild and one sister, Edra Hauck.

Funeral services were held March 14, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, in Amelia.

Interment at Pierce Township Cemetery.
