Glen Este’s boys and Amelia’s girls varsity bowling teams advanced to the district tournament.

The Trojans regular season record was 12-5 and the Barons were 12-2. Among the boys, Amelia finished at 11-4 and Milford was 8-12. Among the girls, Glen Este was 12-3 and Milford was 11-9.

Most of the county’s keglers finished their respective regular-seasons very strong.

Boys

Fort Ancient Valley Conference Tournament: Northwest (first) 4432 pins, Glen Este (GE, third) 4334, Amelia (Ame, sixth) 3851, and Milford (Mil, eighth) 3764. A total of 15 teams competed. Glen Este’s best scores belonged to Nic Pesnichak 688, Zac Hayes 623, and Jaek Pesnichak 621. Amelia’s best scores were achieved by Wes Lukemire 679, Zac Vestring 623, and Travis Partack 576. Milford’s best scores were earned by Jason Ashcraft 643 and Brad Long 522.
