Phillip Meyer Sr., 62, of Vera Cruz, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Agles Meyer; children, Smanatha Bargo, Sandy Wood, Phillip Meyer II, Sonny Meyer and Danny Meyer; 11 grandchildren, Doug and Josh Lynch, Chase and Jody Mitchell, Brookelynn Bargo, Alex and April Wood, Michelle and MacKenzie Meyer, Phillip Meyer III and Kimmy Overstreet; one brother, Bill Meyer; two sisters, Rosie Heath and Susie Meadows; step grandchildren, Mosie Ray, Timothy, Theresa, Sherry and Tammy and close family members.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 12, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery Chapel.
Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, in Union Township.
Evans Funeral Home served the family.
