Helen Lavena Day Conner, 86, of Bethel, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J. Conner; one brother, Gordon Day; three sisters, Dorothy Day, Eva Scott and Ava Nell Leinenger.
She is survived by two sons, Rev. James (Diane) Conner and Tim Conner; two daughters, Portia McClellan and Pamela (Rev. Larry) Allen; nine grandchildren, Jerry McClellan, Jenny Moutria, Joe McClellan, Lisa Davis, Kamela Owen, Sarah Peterson, Anthony Allen and James and Daniel Conner; 11 great grandchildren and one sister, Mary Downs.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 12, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, in Bethel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Batavia Community Church of the Nazarene.
