Batavia, Glen Este, and Goshen’s varsity girls basketball teams have been the most successful in Clermont County of late. The Bulldogs and the Trojans are at or near the top of their respective conference division races.

The Bulldogs won in non-league play over Finneytown 55-48. The visiting Wildcats trailed the Clermont countians 14-7, 31-19, and 41-28 at the end of each quarter.

Kayla Ernst, senior forward, poured in 23 points and Holly Harris, freshman guard, 11 to power the winning offense.

The Green and White handed Bethel-Tate a 50-35 setback in the Southern Buckeye Conference. The Bulldogs steadily pulled away from their guests in this non-division game 13-12, 25-14, and 38-22.
