Clermont County is going to receive a $113,000 state grant to help pay for the road improvements related to the brand new headquarters of the Penn Station East Coast Subs restaurant chain.

Located along U.S. 50 and Wolfpen-Pleasant Hill Road, the $508,000 future project in Miami Township is also expected to improve the road access to an adjacent 100-acre industrial site, said Clermont County engineer Pat Manger.

“The county received a commitment from the state for the grant in November 2007, and then we got the formal grant this past summer in August,” Manger said.
