Clermont Library has a .9 mill levy on ballot

The Clermont County Public Library is seeking a .9 mill replacement tax levy.

Issue 28, which will appear on the Nov. 4 ballot, would raise funds strictly for covering the county’s 12-branch library system’s operational expenses, not for any new construction or renovation.

Clermont County Library Executive Director Dave Mezack said that Issue 28 is a continuing levy that should support the library’s operational expenses for the next 10-plus years.
