A week and a half after hurricane winds reached the tri-state, hundreds of Clermont County residents are still without power.

Duke Energy workers have been working around the clock since the Sept. 14 windstorm blew out the power to more than a million people to restore service and repair the damage left by the remnants of Hurricane Ike.

As of Sept. 22, Clermont County had close to 1,600 homes and businesses without electricity. In the entire area, an estimated 12,000 homes and businesses were still impacted by the storm.
