Voters in the Batavia Local School district will decide in a special election Aug. 5 whether to approve a 9.8 mill bond issue and 0.5 mill maintenance levy for new schools.
If you own property in the Batavia School District, you can use a computer to check out how much the proposed bond issue and tax levy will cost you each year in additional real estate taxes.
Here’s how:
• Go to clermontauditor.org
• Under ‘tools,’ click real estate search.
• Click property search.
• Under the word ‘main’, click address.
• Fill in the address of your property.
• Click search.
• Click on the number that appears under the words, ‘parcel ID’
• Click levy information.
