The Clermont County Fair Board has announced that Amanda Bolton is the winner of its second Fair Book Cover Contest.

The theme the Fair Board chose for this year’s fair is “Something for Everyone.” Bolton created a cover in graphite and colored pencil which illustrates the wide variety of attractions at the Clermont County Fair.

“I do go to the fair, which is where I found the inspiration for the cover,” Bolton said. “It’s a collage of items like carmel apples, popcorn, a ferris wheel, horses running, a boy with a cowboy hat, the demolition derby and a tractor.”

In addition to having her artwork appear on the fair book cover, Bolton was presented with a check for $50 by Fair Board President Bea Faul for producing the winning entry.
