Reverend Charles P. Harrison, 85, of New Richmond, died April 2, 2008. He was retired from the First Baptist Church of New Richmond after serving 50 years.
He was preceded in death by loving wife of 48 years, Thelma Harrison; and two infant daughters.
He is survived by wife, Diane (nee Smith); son, John (Jenny) Harrison; daughter, Nancy (Bill) Light; step-children, Mike (Lisa) and Steve (Lori) Manning; grandchildren, Sheldon (Allison), Steve (Sherry), Philip (Karen) Light, John Harrison Jr. and Amy (Alex) Kauffman; great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kiley, Carter, Elizabeth, Trane, Charlee, Stuart, Liam, and Stevie; step-grandchildren, Nick and Zach Manning; and sisters, Mary Alice Hedges and Helen Lawrence.
Funeral services were held April 7 at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia, which is serving the needs of the family.
