Two candidates are running for one available seat on the Ohio Township Board of Trustees.

Mt. Pisgah resident Frank Renn is challenging incumbent Robert Frey for the seat; both candidates feel that they possess the experience and the qualifications necessary to guide the township towards a successful future.

New Richmond resident Robert Frey, who is in his twentieth year as an Ohio Township trustee, said that he has always been proud to represent the township residents, is proud of their many accomplishments, and is looking forward to putting more programs in place to assure future growth and success for the township.

“We are always looking towards the future,” he said. “I think that our success in providing first-rate emergency services and our efforts to reduce homeowner insurance premiums are two prime examples of our future planning efforts. I am seeking re-election because I want to continue being involved in those and the township’s many other plans to address the concerns, needs, and interests of the residents.”
