Voters will choose the next municipal judge of Clermont County in the November election.

Judge Tony Brock, who was appointed to fill the seat a year ago, is up for election and will face local attorney Curt Hartman.

Brock, who took the seat formerly held but Judge Victor Haddad, is a former Clermont County assistant prosecutor, serving in the prosecutor’s office for 12 years. Hartman, a graduate of Annapolis, has served 13 years in private practice after his stint in the navy.

“I think I’ve demonstrated in the almost year I’ve been a judge that I am very capable of performing the job at a high level,” said Brock. “I’ve had overwhelmingly positive feedback from everybody concerned.
