Legendary Artists and Frames-Of-Mind presented an “Artists In The Park” cultural event in New Richmond’s riverfront Haussermann Park July 14.
Attended by more than 300 people, the event was designed to showcase the artistic talent in Clermont County while promoting the cultural aspect of New Richmond.
Diane Mott, the proprietor of Frames-Of-Mind in New Richmond and the community affairs representative of the New Richmond Business Association, is also the co-chair of the arts and culture initiative of New Richmond’s economic development committee.
“The Legendary Artists are a group of artists in the Pierce Township/Legendary Run area who found each other and formed a painting group,” she said. “We wanted to get involved with them and start an art program here – they were more than willing to bring their art and painting here along the river to provide some art and culture to our community, something that the village is, of course, always interested in doing.”
