The New Richmond Business Association and the New Richmond Garden Club have announced the winners of the 2007 village’s roadside beautification awards.
First place went to New Richmond Auto Sales, second place went to New Richmond Florist, third place went to Hunter Custom Homes, and fourth place went to the Creative Kids Corner.
Honorable mentions were also received by New Richmond Auto Sales for presentation, Collins Market for creativity, the Creative Kids Corner for use of props, and The Landing restaurant for use of color.
The 20 participating businesses received a free container pot and a free bag of potting soil in order to place a planted pot container in front of the businesses. The contest was designed as part of the beautification project in the New Richmond business district.
