There is no lack of academic excellence within the hallways and classrooms of the Glen Este Middle School.

Approximately 30 talented sixth, seventh, and eight-grade students traveled to Columbus recently to compete against other middle school student teams in three state programs known as Youth For Justice, We The People, and Project Citizen.

The three programs, which are sponsored by the Ohio Center For Law Related Education in Columbus, are designed to provide middle school students opportunities to utilize problem-solving skills and techniques in an oratory, presentational form.

Both sixth and seventh grade teams entered the Youth For Justice competition. This program involves researching a school problem and then engaging and empowering the teams to develop practical solutions in solving it.
