Amy Baker appeared in a Clermont County courtroom April 23 to fight being extradited to Mason County, Ky. for her role in and subsequent cover-up of the murder of three-year old foster child Marcus Fiesel.

Despite the immunity deal that she made with Clermont and Hamilton county prosecutors last summer in exchange for her testimony against recently convicted murderers David and Liz Carroll, Mason County Ky. prosecutors have charged Baker with tampering with evidence, a class D felony which carries a minimum five-year jail sentence.

Upon hearing of the indictment against her, Baker turned herself into the Clermont County prosecutor’s office and was arrested without incident April 20.

Clermont County Municipal Court Judge James Shriver honored the request made by Mason County authorities and set her cash bond at $50,000.
