The annual “Trains of Williamsburg” Christmas Walk steams into the village this weekend.

Williamsburg Mayor Mary Ann Lefker said the annual Christmas celebration has been a 20-year-old tradition in the village and that everyone is invited to attend.

“The ‘Trains of Williamsburg’ is a community walk designed to bring attention to the businesses in the village and a way for residents to enjoy the holiday,” she said. “More than 20 local businesses will have train displays in their street-front windows this year, and once again, we have numerous family activities planned for this weekend.”

The celebration, taking place Dec. 8-9, will include fire truck rides, a live nativity scene, a silent auction, musical performances by the school band, baked goods, Christmas carols, strolling musicians, train displays, and of course, Santa Claus.”
