Bessie J. Smith died Oct. 4, 2006. She was retired from Keebler where she worked for forty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Nanie Smith, and brother, James.
She is survived by sisters, Loraine (Bill) Hazel, Diane (Charles) Harrison, and Elaine (the late Dave) Hauke; and brothers, Harold (Goldie) Smith and Danny (Ann) Smith.
Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family and the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
