As a part of Operation Harvest, The First Baptist Church of Milford is sending Milford resident and missionary Angi Johnson to India next month.
Johnson, 55, is a registered nurse who works as an executive for The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, the oldest and largest free standing non-profit home health agency in the city.
Johnson says that the mission of VNA is to provide care in the homes of individuals regardless of their ability to pay. They have skilled nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, home care aids, personal care aids, and homemakers on staff to accomplish its goals.
