The Annual Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association East-West Senior All-Star Football Game took place last Thursday night (June 8) at Kings High School. The West won out 35-0, ahead after each quarter 7-0, 2-10, and 28-0.
The following are the Clermont County seniors who were members of the East squad:
Todd Butts of Glen Este, 6-foot, 1-inch, 190-pound, running back. A Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division all-star.
Chris Cunningham of Clermont Northeastern, 5-foot, 9-inch, 180-pound, defensive back. A Southern Buckeye Conference American Division all-star.
Josh Fiscus of Goshen, 6-foot, 175-pound, linebacker. A Southern Buckeye Conference American Division all-star.
Brett Hammack of Batavia, 5-foot, 10-inch, 195-pound, linebacker. A Southern Buckeye Conference National Division all-star.
Andre Higgins of New Richmond, 6-foot, 5-inch, 180-pound, wide receiver. A Southern Buckeye Conference American Division all-star.
Matt Jackson of Glen Este, 6-foot, 1-inch, 220-pound, running back. A Fort Ancient Valey Conference Buckeye Division all-star.
Stephen Jordan of Williamsburg, 5-foot, 8-inch, 160-pound, linebacker. A Southern Buckeye Conference National Division all-star.
Tim Rose of Bethel-Tate, 5-foot, 8-inch, 210-pound, defensive tackle. A Southern Buckeye Conference American Division all-star.
Cory Steidle of Glen Este, 6-foot, 3-inch, 310-pound, offensive lineman. A Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division all-star.
Each gridiron gladiator was selected by the football coaching staff of each of their respective high schools for the stellar performance the individual turned in during his final prep campaign.
