Clermont County dominated the Division II district track and field championships that took place at New Richmond High School. Twelve Clermont countians won titles in 11 events.

Goshen senior Mike Rossman and junior Josh Shouse earned or help earn three titles apiece and senior teammate Matt Koch shared two titles.

District records were established by New Richmond junior Rickey Schafer in the pole vault (13-feet, 7.5-inches) New Richmond junior Eric Finan in the 1,600-meters (4-minutes, 21-seconds), Goshen junior Josh Shouse in the 400 (49.38), and Goshen senior Leah Wiley in the pole vault (9-6).

Goshen (G) won the boys championship with 105 points, New Richmond (NR) was second with 91.5, Bethel-Tate (BT) was 15th with 13, Batavia (B) was 16th with 11, and Clermont Northeastern (CNE) was 17th with 8. Eighteen teams competed. For the Bulldogs, this was their first year moving up to Division II.
