Glen Este and Amelia place in FAVC swimming

Amelia and Glen Este competed in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division Swimming and Diving Championships.

The boys team totals were Mason 603.5, Loveland 200.5, Anderson 194, Walnut Hills 171, Harrison 57, Glen Este 46, Winton Woods 21, and Amelia 19.

The Glen Este scorers: 200 yard medley relay of Dennis Lieske, Simon Baker, Philip Brownstead, and Matt Calhoun (sixth) 2-minutes, 6.81-seconds; Calhoun (50 freestyle, 11th) 27.14; Brownstead (100 free, ninth) 54.40; 200 free relay of Brownstead, Calhoun, Baker and Lieske (sixth) 1:51.02; and Lieske (100 backstroke, ninth) 1:24.57.
