Milford and New Richmond have emerged with the best early season records for high school varsity boys soccer teams in Clermont County. Amelia, Goshen, and Bethel are doing a respectable job.

Milford: The Eagles flew by Turpin 6-1, Amelia 7-1, and Colerain 1-0. In the win over Turpin, Matt Telting scored twice and Colby Ferguson, Jonathan Popich, Shawn Smith, and Ryan Wuest once for the Red and White. Ferguson netted four goals, Smith, Popich, and Chris Shomo one against Amelia; John Reese tallied for the Barons. Alex Missall netted the lone point in the triumph over Colerain; Ryan Vonderbrink recorded the shutout in goal. Shomo made the goal in the 1-1 tie with Mason.
